Essie Retro Revival

A nail-polish pour, styled as still-life. The bottle of Retro Revival 2 becomes the protagonist — one object, one signature move (the pour), composed, retouched, and brought to print as the season’s signal.

One object. One signature move.

Creative development and design for Essie’s Retro Revival 2 at Gotham / Beauty@Gotham. Worked with the Creative Director to land the hero object, then composed the signature pour of polish falling from the bottle — the moment the color reads as liquid.

Took the asset through preliminary retouching, then led and approved all detailed retouching and mechanicals through to release.

The pour.

One object, one move — owned to release.

At GOTHAM (Beauty@Gotham), I led creative development and design for Essie's Retro Revival 2. Working with the Creative Director, I landed the hero object and composed the signature pour — the moment the color reads as liquid falling from the bottle.

I took the asset through preliminary retouching, then led and approved all detailed retouching and mechanicals through to release. Nothing went out the door without passing through me.
