Superheroes and makeup share the same energy—both transform, elevate, and push beyond limits. For the Maybelline x Marvel collection, we created a campaign that fused the legendary powers of Marvel’s superheroes with the high-performance impact of Maybelline’s iconic products. As a comic book fan, this was an opportunity to craft a bold, cinematic experience that connected the excitement of the Marvel Universe with makeup that delivers unstoppable results.
We challenged our audience to swipe on their superpower. Each product embodied a Marvel hero’s signature strength—speed, precision, endurance—turning everyday makeup into something extraordinary, leaning into Marvel’s epic storytelling, down to the return of the Maybelline Whisper (a signature sound effect that hadn’t been used in a decade). We treated the products like supernatural forces, showcasing their powerful formulas as if they were forged in another dimension, falling from the sky, landing in New York, waiting to be claimed.

Lead creative for the exclusive collaboration between Marvel and Maybelline. Global 360 art direction. Created and executed concept from start to finish with the support of creative, strategy and production team. Lead designer for layout and all graphics. Worked with production to find and cast the right talent. Lead for all digital and e-commerce assets. Worked with production to bring idea to life in all mediums. Oversaw makeup, hair + fashion look direction. Creative lead (under CD) on set. Oversaw CGI development. Responsible for directing and approving all retouching and mechanicals, monitoring video transfers, film color-grading, finishing, and sound design. Handled final formatting for a digital file releases.
